You just can't slip the double syncro 3+4th in. When I bought mine from Jon and TRE I took it apart and there are four holes machined out of the gear so the center of the syncro can be locked to the gear and the two syncros on the outside and the inside of the center piece can wear into that. They will not just bolt in or slip in because the stock third and forth gears do not have the holes machined in them. Just a little FYI. Plus the 3+4 gear set you buy from him are close ratio. Second is machined the same way. I will try to find some pics.

If you get the double 3rd and 4th gear and syncro from the evo3 you can then just put then in your tranny. Atleast you can in a 91 tranny.
