any evo 8 or 9 will work and will directly bolt up:

- evo brake lines OR eclipse brake lines will work. the evo fronts are a bit longer and require them to be played around with so they wont rub on anything. the rears fit fine.

- you need to remove your front and rear dust shields. the fronts are held in by a bolt and the rears are tack welded on

- brembos are a fixed posistion caliper. you need to remove the entire caliper assembly front and rear to be able to bolt the new calipers on

- if your brakes didnt come with bolts and lock washers, go to a specialty bolt store and pick up GRADE 10 bolts, 12mmx35mm coarse bolts for the front, 10mmx35mm coarse bolts for the rear. oem bolts on the rear are too long for the 3g, you will either need to buy extra washers or cut the bolt down a little. trying to get a 10x30 might also work.

- you need to use evo rotors with evo brembos, as well as evo pads ( i suggest buying brand new aftermarket pads as well as new oem shims if your new pads dont come with them)

...once you have everything its just a matter of bolting everything up. I have a GS and i am waiting on purchasing some disc brake e-brake assemblies before installing the rear, so i only have the fronts installed. It took about 40 minutes to disassemble the stock brakes and install the front brembos, and another 30 minutes to flush and bleed the system.

The brembo calipers are also drastically bigger than the 3g calipers. you need a wheel at least 8" wide and no higher than a +38 offset. I chose to use oem MR bbs wheels. Smaller width wheels will work depending on spoke design, they will just require REALLY BIG wheel spacers available from h&r suspension.

all together i spent 600 on the calipers and rotors, 200 on brake pads, 80 on stainless steel lines, 30 on ate super blue brake fluid, and 10 on the bolts. $920 for a BBK at all four corners.
